Imitating Jesus by Serving Others!

Clown Joke: Why did the clown throw his clock out of the window? He wanted to see time fly!

Exercise 1:  In our video today, how did the clowns serve at home? Do you think they have been practicing their Bible verses?

Exercise 2: Think of 3 ways that Jesus served people when He was on earth. Was serving always fun for Jesus? Did that stop Him from serving Jesus served people because He loved helping people!

Exercise 3: What gift did Jesus give us by serving us? What kind of gift can you give someone by serving? Think about 3 things you could do to serve someone at home!

Exercise 4: Have you been practicing your Bible verses…… just like the clowns? We want to imitate God in everything we do! Here are some really AWESOME verses that talk about serving! Take some time to read them and memorize a few!

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Ephesians 5:1-2 Imitate God, therefore in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.

Hebrews 13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

May the Lord bless you this week!!
